Based in Bela Bela (Warmbaths), South Africa, we are a registered charity and sanctuary for lost, homeless, hurt and abused animals. We do our best to rehabilitate and stabilise our furry and feathered friends and then release them back to the wild or find forever homes for the domesticated ones.
Please note that this query is only the first step in starting the process of adoption of one of our animals to their forever home.
Some of our rescues have been badly abused and it takes a lot of work to help heal injuries and stabilise their wellbeing. Our responsibility is to make sure the new home is the right fit and that you, as their new carers, can support, nurture and nourish your new family member in the way that’s right for them.
Once you have found an animal you feel you might want to adopt (see our cats for adoption or dogs for adoption pages, or contact us directly for information on any others we may have), we will be in contact with you to find out more information and where possible, do a home-visit of the proposed space. We will also ask for a donation to help us continue to do the important work we’re doing. For each animal that goes to a new home, we pick up at least 3 more strays that need care and attention.
If you get stuck, visit our contact page here, or call +27 83 273 6408. Some of our animals may not be listed here and some already adopted. We would be happy to send pictures or assist you to find the right one for you.
